FC Internazionale Milano could be without Iván Córdoba for the UEFA Champions League final against FC Bayern München after scans showed the defender suffered a right thigh strain during Wednesday's Coppa Italia final.

The 33-year-old Colombian international has made only two UEFA Champions League appearances this season, and his chances of a third outing in the 22 May final in Madrid are in serious doubt as he could be out of action for two weeks.

Córdoba was injured in the first half of Inter's 1-0 Coppa Italia win against AS Roma. The treble-chasing Nerazzurri also lead Roma by two points in Serie A with two matches remaining. Their long-serving centre-back has had a more productive domestic campaign, playing 21 times in the league.
