Familiar faces back at Flora

Estonian champions FC Flora have recalled Enver Jääger and Alo Bärengrub from loan spells elsewhere.

Estonian champions FC Flora have begun their preparations for the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds by recalling Enver Jääger and Alo Bärengrub to the club.

Lengthy loan
Jääger, who rejoins his younger brother Enar at Flora, returns from JK Tulevik Viljandi, while Bärengrub is back at Flora after a four-year loan spell with FC Valga. Flora face Slovenian side NK Gorica in the first round of the Champions League, with the first leg to be played on 14 July and the return a week later.

Rahn departs
One player Flora will be without is Estonian international Taavi Rähn, who has joined Ukrainian Premier League side FC Volyn Lutsk after a successful loan spell. The 23-year-old central defender, who spent the second half of the 2003/04 campaign with Volyn, has signed a three-year contract after the two clubs agreed a fee believed to be in the region of €150,000. Rähn, who has won 14 caps for his country, missed only one game as Volyn finished 13th in the Ukrainian top flight.

Familiar faces
Elsewhere in Estonia, newly-promoted JK Merkuur Tartu have re-signed two products of their youth system, with midfield player Andrei Tjunin and striker Vitali Gussev joining on free transfers from Swedish outfit Trelleborgs FF.
