Champions Festival: Berlin, 4-7 June

The inaugural UEFA Champions League Film night and the all-star Ultimate Champions Game are highlights of the free-to-all UEFA Champions Festival in Berlin.

The UEFA Champions Festival, in the streets around Berlin's Brandenburg Gate, will be the place to be from 4-7 June, with a host of superb free activities around the UEFA Champions League final.

Free event for all
Grassroots football, Special Olympics sides and the now traditional Ultimate Champions Match are among the highlights of the programme, with top bands and DJs – plus the UEFA Champions League trophy – lending even more star quality to the occasion.

Meanwhile, competitions – including chances to win final tickets – autograph sessions, football freestyling and partner events will ensure there is plenty to do for fans of all ages.

Opening night at the UEFA Champions Festival brings something new; the main pitch on Platz des 18. März will be transformed into an open-air cinema for the inaugural UEFA Champions League Film night.

From 20.00, the best short films from this year's International Football Film Festival will be shown, culminating in the screening of the UEFA Champions League Film, which looks back at some of the most significant moments in the history of the competition.

On Friday, the main attraction is the Ultimate Champions Match, which will bring a raft of brilliant players out of retirement for one night only. The opening ceremony for the game, from 17.30, will feature the 'most successful show in Berlin' BLUE MAN GROUP, while later in the evening Grammy award-nominated German DJ Robin Schulz will entertain fans on the main stage on Strasse des 17. Juni.
