Champions Gallery opens in Milan

The UEFA Champions Gallery is open in Milan, celebrating more than six decades of European club football, with four legends from the city's clubs present for its launch.

A free gallery to celebrate the history of the European Cup has opened in Milan ahead of this Saturday's UEFA Champions League final in the city. Legends Cafu, Dejan Stanković, Massimo Ambrosini, Iván Córdoba and Patrizia Panico all attended the launch.

AC Milan and Internazionale legends came together for the opening of the UEFA Champions Gallery, which will be a major attaction at the UEFA Champions Festival in Milan until Sunday 29 May.

Massimo Ambrosini, Ivan Córdoba, Cafu and Dejan Stanković shared their memories with a crowd of stakeholders from the city of Milan and the media, hosted by journalist Gabriele Marcotti and with an opening message from UEFA director of competitions Giorgio Marchetti.

The exhibition celebrates more than six decades of Europe's top club competitions, with UEFA Women's Champions League final ambassador Patrizia Panico also in attendance.
