Arsenal suffer Reyes injury blow

José Antonio Reyes is a serious doubt for Arsenal FC's UEFA Champions League Round of 16 meeting with Real Madrid CF amid fears the Spanish international may have broken his leg.

The forward was carried off on a stretcher during the first-half of Arsenal's 1-1 Premiership draw with Bolton Wanderers FC following a challenge by Abdoulaye Faye. After the match, manager Arsène Wenger hinted at a possible fracture. He said: "We fear that, that's why we've made an x-ray. We don't have the result of the x-ray yet."

Madrid date
Arsenal play the first leg of their game with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu on 21 February, with the return match at Highbury two weeks later.
