The 18-year-old hopes to benefit from more playing time at PSV's Dutch Eredivisie rivals after finding first-team opportunities limited under coach Ronald Koeman this term. Aissati will be reunited at Twente with coach Fred Rutten, who assisted Guus Hiddink at PSV until the latter's departure last summer.
'Positive step'
"This is a positive step for my development," said the teenager, who played a key role in the Netherlands' triumph at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Portugal last May and June. Aissati has been restricted to ten substitute appearances this season, having represented PSV 17 times in the last league campaign. Twente occupy fifth place in the Eredivisie, with PSV the runaway leaders.
