AFC Ajax winger Wamberto will be out of action for at least two months after he broke the metatarsal bone in his left foot during training on Tuesday.
Lengthening injury list
The 28-year-old Brazilian has become the tenth player on Ajax coach Ronald Koeman's ever-lengthening injury list and will miss the rest of Ajax's UEFA Champions League second group stage matches. Koeman is already without a host of injured first-choice players, including Rafael van der Vaart. Wamberto has made two appearances in this season's competition.
Highbury visit
Ajax are currently second in Group B and resume their campaign on 18 February with a visit to Highbury to face section leaders Arsenal FC. Both sides currently have four points from two games.
