Wouters pride despite PSV fall

Jan Wouters said there was "no shame in finishing third in this group" after PSV Eindhoven's loss to FC Internazionale Milano consigned them to a UEFA Cup spot.

PSV Eindhoven caretaker coach Jan Wouters was satisfied with his side's efforts after playing the last hour with ten men before slipping to a 1-0 defeat by FC Internazionale Milano, and is now looking forward to the UEFA Cup. Julio Cruz's second-half goal proved the difference between the sides as Inter made it five wins from six Group G outings, though Roberto Mancini insists there is still room for improvement.
