Kromkamp ruled out of Inter test

Jan Kromkamp has been ruled out of PSV Eindhoven's crucial UEFA Champions League meeting at home to FC Internazionale Milano next week with a knee injury.

PSV Eindhoven will go into their crucial UEFA Champions League meeting at home to FC Internazionale Milano next week without Jan Kromkamp after the left-back was ruled out until the new year.

Knee blow
The 27-year-old has been dogged by a left knee injury over the last month and underwent exploratory surgery where scar tissue was removed. A small tear in the meniscus was also discovered, and Kromkamp will be sidelined for four weeks so is likely to miss PSV's busy festive programme as well as the Group G match with Inter on 12 December. The Dutch champions need to beat the Nerazzurri and hope Fenerbahçe SK fail to defeat PFC CSKA Moskva.
