Slovakian international defender Stanislav Varga has extended his contract with Scottish Premier League side Celtic FC for another two years.
The 30-year-old, who has won 39 international caps, moved to the UEFA Cup finalists in February from English Premiership side Sunderland AFC and, despite starting only two matches, has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2005.
'I will give everything'
"I'm just happy I will be part of Celtic for the next two years because I always wanted to stay," Varga said. "For me, everything is fine, fantastic in fact, and I am grateful to the manager Martin O'Neill because he has been very good to me. He has given me the chance to play for a great club for another two seasons, and I will give both him and the team everything I have."
