ACF Fiorentina have announced the signing of centre-back Cesare Natali from Torino FC for a reported fee of €2m.
Top-flight experience
The 30-year-old defender has agreed a three-year contract with the Viola after two seasons with Torino where he appeared in 50 top-flight games, but could not prevent the club's relegation in 2008/09. A product of Atalanta BC's youth system, Natali also played in Serie A with Bologna FC and Udinese Calcio before joining the Granata in 2007. Fiorentina will start their UEFA Champions League campaign in the third qualifying round after finishing fourth in the league last term.
