👋 Post-match information

🕰️ Post-match timings

If the match is decided after 90 minutes, the post-match ceremony and accompanying celebrations should finish by 23:30.

If there’s extra time or penalties, expect the action on the pitch to continue until around 00:15.

Football is unpredictable and things can change. Please consider these times as estimates.

🚋 Post-match travel

🎉 No matter when the celebrations wrap up, trams will still be running. Leipzig is adding extra tram services on match-night, with trams operating later and more frequently from stops near the stadium. We recommend using the same route for your departure as you did upon arrival.

🚶‍♀️Staying in Leipzig? Round off the night with an evening walk back to the city centre, which will help you avoid the busiest periods on public transport.

🚫 Please do not travel to Leipzig/Halle Airport after the match as flights will not be departing and no services will be open overnight. Instead, you’re welcome to visit the main train station where you’ll find waiting areas and food and drink options.
