The UEFA Festival is taking the passion and the excitement of EURO onto the streets of Baku. So, whether you're a local or a travelling fan, whether it's your first EURO or if you have lost count, we hope as you travel through Baku, you enjoy a UEFA Festival atmosphere.

You don't need a ticket to join the party – all UEFA Festival activities are free!

Baku have created a visual spectacular to offer each matchday a bespoke show link to the nations playing that given day. Closer to the stadium, drummers and an orchestra will take the build-up to another level as you get closer to the stadium.

🌟 Baku Spectacular

Baku's Heydar Aliyev Centre, located in the heart of Baku, will be illuminated at night with a spectacular visual experience on one of the most famous landmarks in the city.

The visuals projected through each night will be a celebration of football's past and present of both nation's playing that day at Baku Olympic Stadium, one to please travelling fans for sure.

While visiting the Heydar Aliyev Centre will offer the best experience, its sheer size will be visible from most fan areas and popular walking routes in the city.

Let me give you a top tip

Make sure to add Heydar Aliyev Centre to your walking route after your evening meal or after you've enjoyed a EURO 2020 matchday.

UEFA Festival COVID-19 Guidance / Health & safety measures

Since this is an outdoor show taking place in the street, the COVID measures will be the same as those implemented in the public areas.

  • Wearing a face mask is a must. Remember, your mask should cover your mouth and nose.
  • Remember to respect the social distancing requirements.
  • Stay at home if you feel unwell or experience any symptoms of COVID-19.


Closer to the stadium, matchday fans will be spoiled with entertainment for those enthusiastic football fans plus some family-friendly fun for young and old. Drummers and an Orchestra will provide the soundtrack as you approach the stadium perimeter.

Inside the perimeter, Stilt walkers, Cheerleaders, Jugglers and even Transformers will be ready to get you warmed up for the big event as you enter Baku Olympics Stadium.

Stadium activities will start three hours before kick-off, running right up to that first touch of the ball on matchday.
