The heart of UEFA Festival Copenhagen will be the Football Village at Ofelia Square in Copenhagen harbour and close to the popular Nyhavn district. It will be the perfect place to drop in for a quick visit or to settle in for the day. Everyone's welcome, whether you're a football fan or just keen to learn about the game – bring your friends, family, colleagues and join us for the ultimate UEFA EURO 2020 party.
The Football Village is a family-oriented celebration of football – diverse, colourful, and lively, just like Copenhagen itself!
Let me give you a top tip
To prove that you are not infected with COVID-19, you need to show your corona passport or other documents. Valid documents include your corona passport, a negative antigen or PCR test no older than 72 hours, proof of vaccine or certificate of previous COVID-19 infection.

Reducing the risk of a COVID-19 infection is our shared responsibility, so we’ve implemented some new rules to help protect you and other spectators. You will need to show a valid corona passport before you enter the Football Village to prove you are not infected with COVID-19.
As the area of Ofelia Square is outdoor you don’t have to wear a face mask when you are on site. A face mask is only required when you enter Football Village. We encourage you to always maintain distance with other fans and look out for each other.
We only have a limited capacity of 3,125 for spectators on Ofelia Plads. For big-screen matches the capacity of the area is 500 people from 11 June to 13 June and from 14 June it will increase to 1,000 people. After every match in the big screening area, the area will be emptied and cleaned ready to show the next EURO 2020 match.
Take the time to enjoy a walk or a cycle around the streets of Copenhagen or along the harbour and enjoy every activity that will bring this part of town to life during EURO 2020!
Kongens Nytorv is our recommended metro station close to the Football Village. If you are travelling by S-train or bus, we recommend you go to Nørreport St. and then walk to the Football Village.
- Bike parking will be available close to the Football Village
- There will be no car parking around the Football Village.
Remember to always wear a face mask when you travel on public transport and read the official travel regulations before you start your journey.
- Remember to pack light when you go to Football Village
- Please don't bring any food or drinks – there are plenty of tasty and refreshing options to choose from once inside the Football Village. It’s okay to bring a small bottle of water.
- The Football Village will be fully cashless.
- Don’t hesitate to speak to one of the volunteers, the Volkswagen Mobility Makers, if you need help or have a question.
Ofelia Square Football Village is accessible for all and provides fully accessible facilities:
- The big screen area has dedicated accessible viewing platforms for wheelchair users
- There are two accessible toilets in the Football Village
- Both Kongens Nytorv and Nørreport offer accessible lifts and wheelchair friendly elevators. If you plan on travelling by the S-train and are a wheelchair user, please contact DSB beforehand.
Let me give you a top tip:
There is no baggage storage in Ofelia Square. Please remember to pack light and only bring the necessities.
Contact a volunteer right away.
You can bring bottle of water to the Football Village. You will not be able to bring chairs or other big items.
You can bring a baby stroller to the Football Village. You are not allowed to bring any food or drink to the Football Village except bottle for water.
We have taken all the necessary measures implemented by the Danish authorities to ensure a safe experience in Ofelia Square.
To enter the Football Village, you need to show a valid corona passport. The corona pass will be valid with a negative antigen or PCR test no older than 72 hours, a certification of a vaccine or a proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or a certificate of previous infection. In Denmark, antigen and PCR tests are both valid.
In Ofelia Square, the safety measures include safe distance to all and a test centre at the entrance to the square.
You don’t need to wear a face mask in Ofelia Square as the area is outside. You only need to wear a face mask when you enter the Football Village in consideration of our staff.
If you have developed symptoms, follow the Danish government’s guidelines. If you test positive for COVID-19 after entering Ofelia Square, please urgently call our Customer Service Phone on +45 43 26 54 50.
The Football Village will be cleaned regularly on a daily basis. We will have disinfection on site and will follow the local COVID-19 regulations and restrictions.
All visitors to the Football Village and Fan Village are encouraged to download the national contact tracing app ‘Smittestop’ and activate it at all times.
