Getting to the stadium

The stadium in Seville is located on the Island of La Cartuja, on the north-western edge of Seville, approximately 4km from the historic centre.

The stadium is accessible through a shuttle bus service and bus lines C1 and C2. Keep reading to know which is the best way to get there, depending on your entrance.

We have established walkways between the stadium and nearby transport hubs, so it’s easier to follow social distancing guidelines.

❗ Remember you must use the stadium entrance indicated on your ticket.

🏟️ Which stadium entrance should I use?

I have a ticket for entrances A or B.

• Both entrances are located north of the stadium. Access via Avenida del Ocio.

I have a ticket for entrances C or D.

• Both entrances are located south of the stadium. Access via Americo Vespucio and Zona Isla de la Cartuja.

Let me give you a top tip

If you’re a match ticket holder for the Round 16 matchday, the Shuttle Bus service is the preferred mode of transport to the stadium. Using the Volkswagen EURO 2020 Map on the app, you can find directions to available Shuttle Bus pick up points in the city centre, taking you to stadium north or south entrances.

A special shuttle bus service will be in operation for all match ticket holders only. If walking is not an option, this is the preferred mode of travel from the city centre.

Use the Volkswagen EURO 2020 map to get direction to the shuttle bus pick up point.

The shuttle service will be available:

➡️ 17:30 - 1 bus service
➡️ 18:00 until 2 hours after the final whistle - buses running every 6 minutes.

🚶 By foot

The walk from the northern part of the historic centre takes about 40 minutes. Seville is easily accessible on foot as the city is very flat. We highly recommend walking around the streets to enjoy and absorb its beauty. It’s getting hot, so take breaks, stay hydrated and bring sunscreen!

Follow the suggested official walking route on the map below, starting in Alameda de Hercules to reach the stadium.

❗ Please make sure you follow the health guidelines and keep a distance of at least 1.5m to other fans at all times on your way to the stadium.

🚌 Bus

Stadium South entrances C, D ticket holders

📍 Station: Juan Bautista Muñoz (Estadio Olimpico)
🚇 Bus C1 or C2

🚶‍♂‍ Distance Station – Stadium: 5 - 10 min on foot via Zona Isla de la Cartuja Street

Estimated total travel time: 25 - 30 min, depending on the point of departure.

Without a doubt, this is the most comfortable and practical option to move around Seville. The Sevillian bus network (TUSSAM) reaches more points, more tourist spots in the city and don’t forget the air conditioning! Night services are also available during the week and on weekends.

Check the timetables and routes before travelling. Service will increase three hours before matchday kick-off with buses running every 6 minutes, until two hours after the final whistle.

You can pay in cash for the number of single tickets you intend to purchase.

❗ Please note:

In Seville, bus drivers have a minimum amount of money for change in the vehicle. Don’t try to pay with bank notes higher than 5€.

For more information, please visit the official website of Tussam.

🚖 By taxi

Taxis in Seville are easily recognizable: they are white with a yellow diagonal stripe on the side (the green light indicates that the taxi is available). Seville has a large fleet of taxis: 2,000 taxis operating 365 days a year.

There is a taxi drop-off/pick-up point near the stadium (please see map below). Ask your driver to take you to the drop-off point on Zona Isla de la Cartuja Street.

If you take a taxi to travel to or from the stadium, please respect the Covid-19 safer travel guidance for passengers. This means you will be required to wear a mask inside the vehicle. Find out more on the website of the Spanish Health Authorities.

🚗 By car

Stadium La Cartuja will not provide parking for private vehicles during the event.

Please note:

Extensive road closures will be implemented around the stadium on matchdays. So instead, plan to park your car close to transport hubs away from the stadium and use public transport. If you need to park closer to the stadium, try parking at the Cartuja Technological Park (PCT Cartuja).

An option would be to leave the car in the parking next to Blas Infante Metro Station and take the shuttle bus from there to the stadium.

Visit the official City Council website for safe travel guidance, hygiene measures taken by the public transport operator, their social distance policy and exemptions.

Top tip: buy a travelcard

You can purchase one of two travelcards to use on specific public transport. The Seville Multi-Card (or Tarjeta Multiviaje), a prepaid card for bus and tram use and the Tourist Travel Pass, a one or three day ticket for unlimited use of all bus services (excluding airport service), saving you hassle and money!
