Villarreal CF need just one point to make it to the UEFA Europa League round of 32 but will be looking for all three as they welcome Group E leaders SK Rapid Wien.

• Rapid are through; bottom side FC Dinamo Minsk are out.

• If Villarreal avoid defeat against Rapid, they will reach the round of 32 as well. The Spanish outfit will also qualify if FC Viktoria Plzeň do not beat Dinamo.

Previous meetings
Rapid won 2-1 when the sides met for the first time in UEFA competition on matchday one.

• Villarreal's previous four encounters with Austrian sides were all meetings with FC Salzburg (W2 D0 L2); most recently, they eliminated the Austrian champions in last season's UEFA Europa League round of 16.

• Rapid's record in ten games against Spanish teams is W3 D2 L5 (W0 D2 L3 in Spain). Their matchday one triumph over Villlareal ended a run of five games without a victory against Spanish clubs (D2 L3) stretching back to 1968.

Form guide
• Villarreal have won their last three Group E games since their loss in Vienna. The Yellow Submarine are unbeaten in their last eight group stage home games (W7 D1).

• Rapid Wien and SSC Napoli are the only sides with 100% records in this season's group stage. Only six teams have ever won all six group games in a UEFA Europa League campaign, and in only one previous edition have two clubs achieved the feat – Tottenham Hotspur FC and Salzburg in 2013/14.

• Rapid will make it through the group stage for the first time this season, having fallen short in their four previous UEFA Europa League campaigns.

• Villarreal's five past group stage campaigns have all ended in success.
