Mansiz the man for Tipster

Besiktas JK's Ilhan Mansiz offers value for Fantasy Football managers in the second legs.

Tipster returns, studying last week's UEFA Cup fourth round first-leg form in search of information which may prove helpful when you pick your team for Thursday's return legs. As usual transfers are free, so do not forget to make all the changes you deem necessary.

Inönü advantage
Forward Ilhan Mansiz will be back from suspension when Besiktas JK, the unbeaten Turkish Super League leaders, welcome SK Slavia Praha to Istanbul's Inönü stadium. After losing 1-0 in Prague, Besiktas must score and the Turkish international's return could provide the impetus needed to unlock the Czech side's defence.

Alves threat
Boavista FC will be hoping the away goals scored in their 3-2 defeat at Hertha BSC Berlin will stand them in good stead in the return in Portugal. However, Hertha will provide stiff opposition. The in-form Brazilian striker Alex Alves has recently registered against VfL Borussia Moenchengladbach and FC Schalke 04, as well as Boavista twice and he is definitely one to watch.

AEK dream on
AEK Athens FC have three players in the Season Dream Team: goalkeeper Dionisios Chiotis (20 points), defender Grigorios Georgatos (19) and midfielder Vassilios Lakis, the highest scoring player with 26 points. They continue to offer value as AEK appear to have the upper hand following a 0-0 draw at Málaga CF.

Panathinaikos favourites
Another Greek team, Panathinaikos FC, will be feeling confident when they travel to Brussels. Goalkeeper Antonios Nikopolidis is not expensive if - after the 3-0 result in the first leg - you think opponents RSC Anderlecht are unlikely to score. You should also look out for Emmanuel Olisadebe and Panagiotis Fyssas, Panathinaikos's top points scorers.

Zurawski on target
After eliminating Schalke and Parma AC, Wisla Kraków continue to impress and have a 3-3 first-leg draw against S.S. Lazio in Rome to build on. Maciej Zurawski has been on target regularly this season, and represents decent value at €7.5m.

Celtic look strong
Celtic FC travel to the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion to play a VfB Stuttgart side weakened by suspensions. Bulgarian playmaker Krassimir Balakov will need to call on all his powers of motivation if the German side are to make a comeback, although Celtic will be without two influential players in Swedish goalkeeper Magnus Hedman and fellow countryman Henrik Larsson, both injured.

Porto set to progress
Denizlispor have the odds stacked against them after losing 6-1 to FC Porto in Portugal last week. Porto, who cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory against SC Beira-Mar on Sunday, may not field a full-strength team, which is why the Tipster recommends caution in picking their players.

Cissé returns
Finally, Liverpool FC also have three players in the current Dream Team: defenders Sami Hyypiä (24 points) and Djimi Traore (18), and midfield player Danny Murphy (18). Hyypiä and Murphy, along with Michael Owen, are also the three most-picked players by Fantasy Football managers. After a 1-0 victory at AJ Auxerre's Abbé Deschamps stadium, Gérard Houllier's team are favourites to progress. Auxerre's French international striker Djibril Cissé is back from suspension.

Suspended players
The following players will miss the second-leg matches through suspension: António Carlos of Besiktas; Éder of Boavista; Málaga striker Dário Silva; Porto's Paolo Ferreira; Bertrand Crasson of RSC Anderlecht; and Stuttgart's Marcelo Bordon, Fernando Meira and Silvio Meissner.
