Knee trouble
The 28-year-old suffered cartilage damage in his left knee during the weekend derby against PFC CSKA Sofia and will undergo surgery this week. He will probably not return until the new year.
Stoyanov return
Levski will travel to Slavia for the first leg on Thursday night, with the Czech side making the return trip on 27 November. One piece of positive news for Levski is that Bulgaria defender Iliyan Stoyanov should be involved on Thursday after missing their last four games.
