Four-year deal
The attacking midfield player, who was under contract to PSV until July 2005, has agreed a four-year deal with Co Adriaanse's side. The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at FC Twente, but found himself out of favour on his return to Eindhoven.
Familiar face
Adriaanse was Ramzi's coach during his time at Willem II between 1997 and 2000. He then moved on to PSV. Alkmaar, who finished fifth in the Eredivisie last term despite numerous off-field problems, kick off their European campaign in the UEFA Cup first round in September.
