Prolific season
The 22-year-old striker joined Genk in 2002 from KVC Westerlo, and has scored 43 league goals in three seasons, including 17 last term, as well as three further strikes in the two-legged play-off against R. Standard de Liège that took his club into the 2005/06 UEFA Cup.

In the away leg, he hit the only Genk goal to give them hope despite a 3-1 defeat, then in the return he put his side 2-0 up - and ahead in the tie on away goals - before scoring again to ensure a 4-3 aggregate win.
