Five months out
The 23-year-old, who is the Meistriliiga's top scorer with 19 goals from 15 outings, had struck twice in the 3-1 win at FC Valga on 22 June before being substituted. "He will have an operation and will then need five months to recover," said Flora club doctor Gunnar Männik. His absence is a blow to Flora who lie third in the title race.
Trio return
On a happier note, Flora will welcome back three former players on Friday ahead of their UEFA Cup first qualifying round tie against Esbjerg fB. Flora travel to Denmark for the first leg on 14 July before the return on 28 July.
Lindpere back
The club have re-signed 23-year-old Joel Lindpere from Bulgarian champions PFC CSKA Sofia following a six-month loan, while Kristen Viikmäe, 26, and Ragnar Klavan, 19, are heading home from Norwegian clubs Fredrikstad FK and Vålerenga IF.
