Austria challenge attracts Ceh

Slovenia's captain Nastja Ceh has agreed a switch from Club Brugge KV to Austrian Cup winners FK Austria Wien.

Midfielder Ceh will sign a three-year deal with the Austrian Cup winners who will compete in the 2005/06 UEFA Cup, although the transfer fee has not been disclosed. "We let him go now and get some money, or he goes for free next season," said Brugge sporting director Eric Degryse.

International class
The 27-year-old made 101 league appearances for Brugge over the last four seasons, scoring 24 goals, having arrived from NK Maribor in his homeland. Ceh has been capped 32 times by his country and played at the 2002 FIFA World Cup finals in Korea/Japan.
