The 28-year-old former Roda JC and Apollon Limassol FC centre-back will provide manager Tony Mowbray with cover for Gary Caldwell as the Scotland defender was ruled out for ten weeks after puncturing a lung and suffered a rib injury in Sunday's 4-0 league defeat against Edinburgh rivals Heart of Midlothian FC. Hibernian will enter the UEFA Cup in September's first round.
