Queudrue facing two months out

Middlesbrough FC have recalled England U21 left-back Andrew Taylor from a loan spell with French defender Franck Queudrue sidelined with a knee injury.

'Another blow'
The 27-year-old had been a regular in the Premiership this season before being injured in the 0-0 home draw against Manchester City FC on New Year’s Eve. Middlesbrough manager Steve McClaren said: "Losing Franck is another blow. It’s typical of our luck at the present time, and all the more ironic that he did it with the last tackle of the game against Man City."

Taylor recalled
McClaren added: "He'll see a specialist in the next few days before we decide if he needs an operation." Middlesbrough, who take on VfB Stuttgart in the UEFA Cup Round of 32 next month, have recalled England Under-21 left-back Andrew Taylor from a loan at Bradford City FC, while there is also concern over central defender Chris Riggott who suffered a broken nose in Monday's 2-2 draw at Newcastle United FC.
