Lekić swaps Xerez for OB

Serbian-born striker Rajko Lekić has returned to Denmark from Xerez CD to sign a two-year contract with UEFA Cup hopefuls Odense BK.

Knee concern
The 25-year-old, who has joint Danish and Serbian citizenship, has moved to OB despite initially missing out on a transfer in July when medical tests revealed he was suffering from a knee injury. The deal agreed with Xerez minimises OB's risk in the event that Lekić's knee cannot stand the pace of the Superliga.
