Russia return
The 28-year-old arrived at Benfica from FC Krylya Sovetov Samara in 2005 but managed only eleven Portuguese Liga appearances, scoring twice. The 27-times capped Russian international has been limited to four substitute cameos this season – two in Portugal and two in Europe. Benfica face Paris Saint-Germain FC in the UEFA Cup Round of 16, on 8 and 15 March.

Saturn landing
Saturn have also landed Georgian international midfielder Gogita Gogua from FC Spartak Nalchik. The 23-year-old played 23 Premier-Liga games in the 2006 campaign, having transferred to Nalchik from FC Khimki last winter. He has 17 caps and one national-team goal.
