Polish forward Radosław Matusiak has joined UEFA Cup contenders SC Heerenveen from US Città di Palermo for an undisclosed fee, signing a three-year contract with the Dutch club with the option of a further year.
Brief spell
The 25-year-old joined Palermo from GKS Bełchatów last season but made just three Serie A appearances for the club, scoring once. He previously played for LKS Łódź, Garbarnia Szczakowianka Jaworzno and Wisła Plock. He has scored four goals in nine games for Poland. Heerenveen start their UEFA Cup campaign in the first round, having earned their berth in the Dutch end-of-season play-offs after finishing fifth in the Eredivisie in 2006/07.
