Bolton Wanderers FC have further boosted their squad ahead of the new season with the signing of Norwegian winger Daniel Braaten from Rosenborg BK on a three-year deal.

Eleventh signing
The English Premier League club, who will play in the UEFA Cup from next month's first round, have paid an undisclosed fee for the 25-year-old who has scored twice in 13 appearances for his country. Braaten leaves Rosenborg after three years with the Norwegian champions in which time he has made 63 league outings and becomes new Bolton manager Sammy Lee's eleventh signing of the summer. The north-west club begin their domestic season with a home match against Newcastle United FC on 11 August.

'Powerful winger'
Lee said: "Danny is another quality signing for the club and I am delighted he has chosen Bolton Wanderers ahead of the other clubs around Europe who were chasing him. He is a powerful winger, who can play on both flanks. He is very direct and likes to take on the defence with strong running and deft skill. He will complement the squad and give us a new outlet out wide providing excellent service to the forward line."
