Everton FC have announced a deal to sign Plymouth Argyle FC midfielder Dan Gosling.
'One for the future'
The 17-year-old, who can also play in defence, made 22 league appearances and scored two goals for the English second-tier side after graduating from the club's youth system. The deal for Gosling, who has also appeared for England Under-18s, is expected to be finalised later this week. "He is one for the future," said Everton manager David Moyes. Gosling joins an Everton side through to the last 32 of the UEFA Cup after winning all four of their group matches. They will meet Norwegian champions SK Brann in February for a place in the Round of 16.
