FC Bayern München expect to have Oliver Kahn and Philipp Lahm available for Thursday's UEFA Cup semi-final second leg against FC Zenit St. Petersburg.

Kahn confident
It is anticipated that both players will be fit for the trip to Russia despite missing Sunday's league victory over VfB Stuttgart. Goalkeeper Kahn had to sit out the Bundesliga leaders' 4-1 triumph because of a trapped nerve in his lower back, but remains confident of facing Zenit. "I think I can play as experience tells me it will be OK," said the 38-year-old.

Lahm 'will play'
Like Kahn, full-back Lahm was also able to train today after Ottmar Hitzfeld decided not to risk his adductor problem against Stuttgart. "I assume he will play," said the coach of the 24-year-old German international. Kahn's injury had prompted his second-half withdrawal, for Michael Rensing, during last Thursday's 1-1 first-leg draw with Zenit in Munich. Lucio was a third Bayern player to be rested at the weekend, though there are no concerns over his fitness.
