NEC Nijmegen have brought in Polish holding midfielder Arkadiusz Radomski on a two-year contract after the 31-year-old was released by FK Austria Wien.

Cruciate injury
Radomski, who has won 30 international caps, has spent the last week on trial at NEC, who claimed a UEFA Cup first round place through the end-of-season play-offs in the Netherlands. He passed medical tests despite tearing cruciate ligaments in his right knee in May. Having previously played in the Netherlands with BV Veendam and SC Heerenveen between 1994 and 2005, he replaces Krisztián Vadócz who left NEC for CA Osasuna this summer. "The coach thinks I still need a month to get fit," Radomski said. "I want to help NEC; that is what I came for."
