Senderos moves from north London to Milan for the next 12 months at least, becoming the Rossoneri's third summer recruit from the Premier League after Mathieu Flamini and Andriy Shevchenko. "I'm delighted to join Milan," he said. "Everything has happened very quickly, but it's a dream come true. I have learned a lot under Arsène Wenger but I think I have reached another level by joining Milan."
The 23-year-old former Servette FC defender has played 64 top-flight matches for Arsenal, scoring four goals, and has also represented Switzerland on 31 occasions – including the co-hosts' three games at UEFA EURO 2008™. He joined the Gunners in 2003/04. In addition to the acquisitions of Flamini and Shevchenko, from Arsenal and Chelsea FC respectively, Carlo Ancelotti's team have also landed Gianluca Zambrotta and Ronaldinho from FC Barcelona this close season.
