Rosenborg BK have bolstered their squad with the double signing of left-back Mikael Dorsin and midfielder Anthony Annan.
Second spell
The 26-year-old Dorsin, who has been capped 12 times by Sweden, has signed a three-year deal after returning to Rosenborg following his release from CFR 1907 Cluj. He scored five times in 76 league games in his first spell at the Lerkendal Stadium between 2004 and 2007 but only made eight appearances in Romania's top flight after moving to Cluj in last January's transfer window.
Loan stint
The Trondheim club have paid a reported €1.2m to capture Annan from IK Start, with the 22-year-old signing on until the end of the 2011 season. The 15-cap Ghanaian played eleven league matches for Start and a further 12 at Norwegian league leaders Stabæk IF, where he was on loan this season.
'Valuable player'
Rosenborg director of sport Erik Hoftun said: "Annan will be a valuable player in the defensive midfield position. He is maybe the best player in this position in the Tippeligaen." The Norwegian outfit, who lie sixth in the table, travel to Brøndby IF for the first leg of their UEFA Cup tie on 18 September with the return two weeks later.
