He had initially been linked with English side Charlton Athletic FC. László Bölöni's side take on SC Braga in the UEFA Cup Round of 32 in February. Standard have also signed 18-year-old striker Christian Benteke and 20-year-old goalkeeper Sinan Bolat in recent weeks.
