Scottish UEFA Europa League play-off contenders Heart of Midlothian FC have signed defender Dawid Kucharski from KKS Lech Poznań, with the 24-year-old joining new arrivals Suso Santana and Ian Black.
Summer signings
Hearts have not released any transfer or contract details for Kucharski, who won the Polish Cup last term with Lech Poznań. The centre-back started his career at KS Amica Wronki, who merged with the old Lech Poznań to form KKS Lech Poznań in 2006. He is the club's third major signing of the summer following the additions of winger Santana, 24, on a free transfer from CD Tenerife and midfielder Black, a former stalwart at Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC. The Edinburgh club have also welcomed back left-back José Gonçalves after the Portuguese Under-21 international spent last season on loan at German club 1. FC Nürnberg.
