Versatile talent
Cacá has signed a three-year contract with the Superliga runners-up, who start their European campaign in the third qualifying round, a round after losing Danish Cup finalists AaB. "Cacá is an interesting type of player who can fill several attacking positions," said his new coach Lars Olsen. "He is skilful, entertaining and unpredictable and knows everything about European football so he will not need to adjust to our way of playing and the environment around European games."
'Long way'
The former MSV Duisburg player, 26, spent three seasons at AaB, but leaves the club on a free transfer after failing to agree new terms. "We had been negotiating with Caca for some time, but without reaching an agreement and Cacá chose to sign a contract with OB," said AaB sporting director Lynge Jakobsen. "We are already far in our search for his replacement."
