Alessandro Rosina has concluded his move from Torino FC to FC Zenit St. Petersburg with the 25-year-old midfielder "happy to be moving to a beautiful city where I can play European football".

Brazilian skills
Rosina has signed a four-year contract with the side who start their UEFA Europa League campaign in the play-offs, with a reported fee of €7m having been paid for his services. Known as 'Rosinaldo' for his Brazilian-style ball skills, the 1.68m-tall former Parma FC trainee played for Hellas-Verona FC before joining Torino, where he scored 34 goals in 143 Serie A games. He also represented Italy at Under-21 level, and has won a single senior cap, in a 2-0 friendly win against South Africa on 17 October 2007.
