Rubin reinforce midfield with Nemov

FC Rubin Kazan have swelled their ranks ahead of the round of 32 contest with FC Twente by signing 27-year-old former FC Saturn Moskovskaya Oblast midfielder Petr Nemov.

FC Rubin Kazan have strengthened their squad with the signing of former FC Saturn Moskovskaya Oblast midfielder Petr Nemov.

The 27-year-old has accepted a three-and-a-half year contract with the UEFA Europa League hopefuls. Nemov started out at FC Dinamo Moskva before spells at FC Spartak Moskva and PFC Krylya Sovetov Samara. He had been at Saturn since 2007, scoring a career-best four goals in 26 league outings last term.

Rubin meet Twente, who like the Russian club competed in this season's UEFA Champions League group stage, in the round of 32 on 17 and 24 February, playing the first leg at home.
