S.S. Lazio have added to their attacking options with the signing of France striker Djibril Cissé from Panathinaikos FC for a fee believed to be in the region of €5.8m.

French international striker Djibril Cissé has joined S.S. Lazio on a four-year contract from Panathinaikos FC.
Cissé, 29, moves to Italy for a fee believed to be in the region of €5.8m, following the likes of Marius Stankevičius, Miroslav Klose and Federico Marchetti in joining Lazio this summer.
The former AJ Auxerre, Liverpool FC and Olympique de Marseille forward, who has scored nine goals in 40 senior international appearances, found the net 43 times in just 55 league games for Panathinaikos. His new employers will enter the UEFA Europa League play-offs having finished fifth in Serie A last term.
