With Chelsea FC aiming to become just the fourth club to win all three of UEFA's major club competitions former left-back Graeme Le Saux spoke to UEFA.com about the Blues' chances of completing the set ahead of their UEFA Europa League round of 32 tie with AC Sparta Praha.

A European Cup Winners' Cup winner in 1998 during his second spell at Stamford Bridge, Le Saux knows what it takes to succeed in Europe with Chelsea, for who he now works as a club ambassador. "Being Champions League winners last season, every team that we come up against will revel in the thought of beating us," said the 44-year-old, who won 36 caps for England. "So you have to be more resilient, more focused and motivated, and actually use that as your motivation to overcome what are difficult hurdles."

Despite the disappointment of an early exit from the UEFA Champions League, Le Saux believes Rafael Benítez's side will be taking the new challenge just as seriously. He said: "It is disappointing to be eliminated from the Champions League, but you can take something positive out of the fact that we've still got a chance to succeed in the Europa League, which has huge status. With the history and the quality of the teams involved year in year out, and with the likes of Chelsea and other big European clubs involved, definitely people will be wanting to see how teams achieve."
