Lazio hit by injuries to Biglia and Novaretti

Not only do SS Lazio have to cope without Lucas Biglia for three weeks after the midfielder sustained a calf strain, but Diego Novaretti is also set for a spell on the sidelines.

SS Lazio have been deprived of midfielder Lucas Biglia for three weeks as well as defender Diego Novaretti who is struggling with a thigh problem.

Former RSC Anderlect schemer Biglia sustained a thigh strain in Lazio's 2-0 win against Cagliari Calcio in Serie A on Sunday. He will therefore miss the Biancocelesti's UEFA Europa League fixture at home to Apollon Limassol FC on 7 November. Novaretti is also a doubt for matchday four after being sidelined for around ten days.

Vladimir Petković's side lie second in Group J – two points shy of leaders Trabzonspor AŞ – after being held to a goalless draw at Apollon last time out.
