Thomas Enevoldsen, AaB forward
We stood firm throughout and made it difficult for Dynamo Kyiv. It was an incredibly talented side we were up against, they have players who can do a lot on their own and we got to see that today. But we restricted them to a few chances which is very impressive. We were very efficient and that's what we have missed this season. Fortunately today was the day we started to be efficient again.
It was nice to win 3-0 and balance out the 6-0 defeat at Steaua on matchday one. This is one of the biggest victories of my time at Aalborg. To defeat a class team like Dynamo Kyiv, who play in European competition every year with players who represent some of the biggest national teams, to beat them 3-0 – that's class. It's going to be a very difficult game in Kyiv and a point would be OK.
Nicolaj Thomsen, AaB midfielder
They were two easy goals but it was nice to see them hit the back of the net. Personally, I don't think it was my best game, but sometimes you have matches where things that do not usually work happen, today was one of those days. This is probably the best result of my career at AaB.
Player for player, Dynamo were a few levels above us but we stood together as a team and we made it very difficult for them to break through. We stood firm and then we created chances, something we haven't been very good at this season. It was probably not our best game, but we were more efficient than we have been all season.
Jeremain Lens, Dynamo Kyiv midfielder
We conceded two goals quite early on and after that we created chances but it didn't work out. This is what happens in football. We had an off-day but in two weeks we have the chance to avenge this. We have two weeks to fix the mistakes we made today. We will feel a little bit better if we get a good result in the next game against Aalborg.
After we conceded two goals it was like we didn't know what to do and how we had to react. Aalborg really fought hard for a good result. Maybe if we had scored once it could have been a different match but at the end we lost 3-0. But it's not like we lose one game and our chances are gone. We have won two of our three games. In two weeks we play Aalborg again and we will try to win that one.
