FedEx Performance Zone: No stopping Giuliano

Giulano remains dominant at the top of the FedEx Performance zone but Roma's Edin Džeko and five-goal Aritz Aduriz are snapping at the Zenit player's heels.

Giulano's reign at the top of the official UEFA Europa League form tracker shows no sign of stopping as we look at the big movers on the FedEx Performance Zone rankings after matchday four.

1st: Giuliano (Zenit)
Top since matchday one, Giuliano extended his lead with his two goals in the 2-1 success over Dundalk. He managed six attempts at goal, completed 38 of his 47 passes and has now scored five goals as well as laying on four assists.

Attacking midfielder Giuliano said: "A good game for me is down to my team-mates. My stats are down to the whole team's work. I hope we continue to play in the same spirit. Yes, this year is the best in my career – the first half at Grêmio and now at Zenit."

4th: Edin Džeko (Roma)
Roma's Bosnian striker helped himself to two goals and an assist in their 4-2 victory at Austria Wien. He had a total of six attempts at goal, hit the woodwork with an effort, won three aerial duels and connected with 25 of his 31 passes.

Džeko said: "I am happy to score the goals and happy to win the game. It was very important to stay top of the group. We just have to continue like this."

5th: Aritz Aduriz (Athletic Club)
Aduriz became the first player to score five goals in an UEFA Europa League match as he rocketed up 66 places in the FedEx Performance Zone. He scored two from open play, another three from the penalty spot and had eight goal attempts in Athletic's 5-3 win against Genk.

The centre-forward said: "I helped the team get three very important points. I am also very grateful to my team-mates, because without them I could not have scored five. I don't remember the last time I scored five – maybe not since I was a youth player. I had chances to score more ... but it's better not to be greedy. I'm happy with five."

10th: Wilson Eduardo (Braga)
Eduardo was Braga's key man in their 3-1 defeat of Konyaspor, bagging a goal and providing an assist to break into the top ten of the FedEx Performance Zone. He was a constant attacking threat, drifting out wide to deliver five crosses in an impressive display before being replaced on 70 minutes.

Eduardo said: "Forwards live on goals and assists, and fortunately I managed to get both today. I'm really happy about that. However, the most important thing is the win, because wins give us confidence to score more goals and make more assists."

19th: Ishak Belfodil (Standard Liege)
Target man Belfodil was one of the biggest movers of the evening thanks to his two goals in Standard's 3-0 triumph at Panathinaikos. His pass completion rate was high and he was active in helping his side defend from the front.

20th: Virgil van Dijk (Southampton)
Southampton captain Van Dijk led by example in the scalp of Internazionale Milano, with his equaliser just one part of an excellent performance as he ascended 38 places in the FedEx Performance Zone. He completed 41 passes, with just three going astray, and made four interceptions and four clearances.

79th: Hee-Chan Hwang (Salzburg)
Despite coming on for only 28 minutes, Hwang struck twice to fire Salzburg to a 2-0 victory over Nice. The Korean forward's rise up the rankings is also partly down to three goals in his last two Austrian Bundesliga matches.

Hwang said: "I am very pleased that we won tonight. We played a very solid game and we managed to win. Of course I am absolutely delighted with my two goals. I hope they can help us go through to the next round. That would be great."
