Since the competition was first contested in 2009/10, the UEFA Europa League has developed its own identity, distinct from that of the UEFA Champions League, with its own cast of regular characters.

With Schalke's Yevhen Konoplyanka and Sparta Praha's Václav Kadlec both in line to make their 50th appearances in the revamped competition in the round of 32, UEFA.com salutes the players who have given their best year on year.
