Contract reward
A serious knee injury last September meant the full-back played only a dozen Ligue 1 games, having been a regular the previous three seasons. Despite being linked with a move away from Auxerre, Radet's good form in the last two months led the Burgundy side to offer him new terms.
Fresh start
Radet has spent his entire career at Auxerre under former coach Guy Roux, who has just left his post after 44 years to become club vice-president. "With Jacques Santini at the helm, I feel like I'm joining another team," said the 28-year-old, who can now look forward to a UEFA Cup campaign after helping Auxerre win the French Cup.
