📲 Mobile tickets
💡 Our top tips
📲 Make sure to install the UEFA Mobile Tickets app on your phone before you travel.
🔓 Your account can only be accessed on one phone. Once logged in, you cannot access your account from another device.
🔄 If you have several tickets, transfer them to friends or family via the app before heading to the stadium. The person who receives the ticket will not be able to transfer it further. However, they can send it back to you.
❌ No ticket transfers are possible inside the stadium’s security perimeter.
👥 If you keep all tickets on your phone, your group must enter the stadium together.
🌍 Travel to Salzburg
Citizens from the United Kingdom need a valid passport that meets the entry requirements for the Schengen Area. At the border, expect biometric checks (fingerprints and photo) under the EU’s new Entry/Exit System (EES).
⚠️ Book in advance
The Salzburger Festspiele, a world-famous music and arts festival, takes place at the same time as the UEFA Super Cup. While this creates a great atmosphere, accommodation and transport options can fill up quickly, so we recommend booking early to secure the best options.
Salzburg Airport (SZG) is located around 10km from the city centre and has direct commercial flights to selected European destinations. The airport is well connected to Salzburg Main Station and city centre by bus.
Commercial flight connections to Salzburg are limited compared to larger European hubs. Depending on your departure city, it may be easier to fly into Munich, Vienna, or another city in Austria and continue your journey to Salzburg by train.
🚅 Fastest direct train connections to Salzburg
Linz Hbf to Salzburg Hbf – 1 hour 10 minutes
Munich Hbf to Salzburg Hbf – 1 hour 35 minutes
Innsbruck Hbf to Salzburg Hbf – 2 hours 5 minutes
Vienna Hbf to Salzburg Hbf – 2 hours 30 minutes
Graz Hbf to Salzburg Hbf – 3 hours 50 minutes
Check ÖBB for train connections to Salzburg Main Station. From the train station, you can easily reach Aston Villa’s Fan Meeting Point at Kapitelplatz and Stadion Salzburg.
If you’re travelling to Salzburg by train, we advise booking your ticket in advance. For journeys to and from Vienna, seat reservations are strongly recommended, as a seat on your preferred train is not guaranteed without a reservation.
Long-distance public coaches to Salzburg are also available from a wide range of destinations across Austria and Europe. Coaches stop next to Salzburg Main Station or at Salzburg Park + Ride South.
❌ Please do not drive to the stadium, as no public parking is available at Stadion Salzburg on matchday. Instead, head to the Park + Ride service for Aston Villa supporters at Salzburgarena. Parking is free, and you can reach Aston Villa’s Fan Meeting Point at Kapitelplatz in 30 minutes by public bus or Stadion Salzburg in 15 minutes by shuttle bus.
