🚨 Stadium rules

When planning for the match, bear in mind that the stadium may operate differently for the 2023 UEFA Super Cup.

🎒 Bags larger than A4 size won’t be allowed into the stadium.

🔋 You can bring a small power bank, no larger than your phone.

🆔 Make sure you have a valid form of ID on you.

🚭 Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and heat-not-burn tobacco products, is not allowed inside the stadium.

🚰 Water bottles are not permitted inside the stadium but will be sold at concession stands. For those seeking assistance, water will also be available from medical officials.

📍 Entrances

You can only enter through the entrance that’s indicated on your ticket. Have a look at the stadium map before setting off to ensure you arrive at the correct side of the stadium and avoid extra walking.

🥙 Food and drink

You’ll find plenty of concession stands serving a variety of snacks and beverages. Concession stands at the stadium will be open from 19:00 and close 30 minutes after the final whistle.

🥪 Food: You’ll find a selection of sweet and savoury snacks.
🥤Soft drinks: Enjoy a selection of drinks from our partner Pepsi.
🍺 Alcohol: ONLY non-alcoholic Heineken 0.0 will be available.

💳 Payment: You can pay with debit or credit cards at concessions stands and most accept contactless payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Some stands will also accept cash in Euros.

🧣 Fan shops

There will be two Fan Shops at the stadium, one on the north and one on the south side, so you can stock up on an assortment of Man City or Sevilla items such as scarves, t-shirts, keychains, pins and more.

We’ve compiled some answers to the most common matchday questions ahead of your visit to Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium.

✅ Stadium entry and security

How early should I get to the stadium before the match?

Gates will open at 19:00 for a 22:00 kick-off, and we recommend getting to the stadium at least 3 hours before the start of the match.

Once I enter the stadium, can I leave and come back in?

Re-entry is not permitted. If you choose to leave the stadium, you won’t be allowed back in.

If I’m late to the match, can I still enter after kick-off?

You’ll still be allowed to enter the stadium as long as the security situation allows it. However, you may not be permitted entry if you arrive too late, so start your journey well in advance and allow additional time for security checks.

Can I use any entrance at the stadium to get to my seat?

Please only use the entrance specified on your ticket. If you arrive at a different entrance, you will be turned away and asked to find yours.

Is there a minimum age to attend the match?

There is no minimum age to attend the match, but everyone must hold a valid match ticket in order to enter the stadium.

Do underage ticket holders need to be accompanied by an adult?

Yes, ticket holders under the age of 16 can only enter the stadium with an accompanying adult. The accompanying adult MUST have a valid match ticket.

What if I have a problem/emergency at the stadium? Who can I speak to?

In case of emergency on-site, or if you need emergency assistance with anything, please contact the nearest steward who will be able to assist.

🙅 Packing and forbidden items

What props am I allowed to bring inside?

You can bring flagpoles that are a maximum of 1m long and 1cm in diameter and banners or flags that are a maximum of 2m x 1.5m.

📲 Tickets

What if I have a problem with my match ticket? Is there somewhere at the stadium that can help?

If you are experiencing issues with the UEFA Mobile Tickets app or your account, visit the Mobile Tickets FAQs or the Super Cup tickets FAQs.

If you’re unable to resolve issues, head to the Ticketing Centre located to the south of the stadium (view on map) and open on:

➡️ Tuesday 15 August between 15:00 – 18:00
➡️ Wednesday 16 August between 15:00 – 22:45

You will be asked to provide valid proof of ID (the same ID provided in the ticketing system and/or UEFA Mobile Tickets app), so make sure you have it on you.

Should I keep all the tickets I bought on my phone, or should I transfer them?

If you have several tickets, we strongly recommend transferring them to others in your group before leaving for Athens and Piraeus using the UEFA Mobile Tickets app. It’s simple, quick and will save you time at the stadium.

🏟️ Stadium facilities

Is there anything to do at the stadium for non-ticket holders?

No. If you don’t have a ticket, don’t travel to the stadium. There will be ticket holder checks in place and you won’t be able to get close to the stadium or any of the facilities in the area. However, you won’t need a ticket to access the Fan Festival in Plateia Korai, Piraeus, which is open for all to enjoy.

Are there phone charging stations around the stadium in case I run out of battery?

There are no phone charging stations at the stadium. If required you can bring your own power bank, as long as it's smaller than your phone.

Can I smoke inside the stadium? What about e-cigarettes?

Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and heat-not-burn tobacco products, is not allowed inside the stadium. Thank you for respecting the No Smoking policy.

Is there somewhere I can store bags larger than A4 size near the stadium?

We highly recommend not bringing a bag with you on matchday. Remember, bags larger than A4 size won’t be allowed inside the stadium.

🥙 Food and drink

Can I bring my own food, snacks or drinks into the stadium? What if I need to bring specific food or drinks for medical reasons or my medication?

No, you’re not allowed to bring your own food or drinks, including alcohol, of any kind.

If you need to bring in anything for medical reasons, please come to the stadium with an official letter from your medical professional which states your condition.

What alcohol will be sold at the stadium?

In accordance with local laws, only non-alcoholic beer, Heineken 0.0, will be sold at the stadium.

What languages will the menus at the concession stands be available in?

Menus will be available in English.

Are there foods that are suitable for gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and other diets?

Yes, fruit salad and crisps will be available as gluten-free options. There will also be sandwiches, wraps and salad for the veggie/vegan lovers.

🧣 Fan Shops

Can I return items I’ve bought?

Once you’ve made your purchase, the items are yours to keep! However, if a product you have bought is defective, you can return it to the Fan Shop before it closes as long as you have your original receipt and the tags are still attached to the product(s).
