Hat-trick for Weah as Paris score eight

Timothy Weah, son of George, scored a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain racked up eight goals in Bulgaria, while Basel, Barcelona, Bayern München and Manchester City posted second wins.

Group A
Arsenal 1-2 Basel (Dragomir 55; Cümart 40, Manzambi 90+4pen)
Eray Cümart gave Basel the lead with a stunning free-kick from inside his own half. Though Vlad Dragomir levelled after running on to a ball over the top from Marc Bola, Basel snatched victory, their second in Group A, in added time after an unfortunate handball in the box by Chiori Johnson.

Ludogorets 1-8 Paris Saint-Germain (Aleksandrov 38; Essende 9 32, Weah 29 48 85, Nkunku 39 79pen, Diaby 88)
Timothy Weah, the son of former Paris forward George, enhanced his reputation in an emphatic win for the French side. Weah's first came when he capitalised on hesitation from goalkeeper Daniel Naumov. The only consolation for Ludgorets was Denislav Aleksandrov's strike, their first after seven goalless games in the competition.

Highlights: Napoli 2-3 Benfica

Group B
Beşiktaş 3-3 Dynamo Kyiv
(Muhammed Öztürk 3, Yusuf Abay 24, Muhammed Enes Durmuş 40; Lednev 59, Yanakov 66, Ibrahim Akıncı og 69)
Dynamo pulled off one of the best comebacks in UEFA Youth League history by rallying from 3-0 down with nearly an hour played.

Napoli 2-3 Benfica (De Simone 79 85; Félix Sequeira 24, Soares 55pen, Florentino 86)
Joao Félix Sequeira opened the scoring and then drew the foul from Napoli captain Antonio Granata that afforded Filipe Soares the opportunity to double the lead from the spot. Granata was later sent off, but Napoli nonetheless drew level. Florentino had the last word, though, heading in the winner. Napoli finished with nine players after the late dismissal of Gennaro De Simone.

Highlights: Celtic 0-4 Manchester City

Group C
Celtic 0-4 Manchester City (Dilrosun 25, Kongolo 32, Buckley-Ricketts 71 89)
A classy City side cruised to victory in Greenock. City did the damage in the first half with two well-worked goals when Javairo Dilrosun side-footed Aaron Nemane's cross into the net before captain Rodney Kongolo doubled the advantage with a low, near-post shot. They sealed it in the second half through substitute Isaac Buckley-Ricketts' double.

Mönchengladbach 1-3 Barcelona (Schikowski 45+1; García Beltrán 9, Guillemenot 39, Mboula 90+1)
Jeremy Guillemenot scored the pick of the goals with a lob over Gladbach keeper Franz Langhoff from outside the penalty box. Jordi Mboula confirmed Barcelona's second victory on the counterattack in added time.

Group D
Atlético Madrid 1-3 Bayern München (De Castro 72; Tillmann 4, Crnički 60, Fein 90+3)
Bayern built on their matchday one victory over Rostov with this success in the Spanish capital, Adrian Fein making sure of the points in added time. By that point Atlético were a man light, Toni Moya having been shown a straight red card for a foul on Meritan Shabani with seven minutes remaining.

Rostov 0-6 PSV Eindhoven (Rigo 7 11p, Daneels 22, Sukhomlinov 30og, Scamacca 49, Sviridov 60og)
Midfielder Dante Rigo was the star of the show, starting out by putting PSV in front with a shot from distance and converting a penalty after Dmitri Tananeev handled in the box. He then laid on finishes for Lennerd Daneels and Gianluca Scamacca, while his free-kick led to Danil Sviridov's own goal.
