SK Trondheims-Ørn of Norway scored 18 goals without reply to win UEFA Women's Cup Group 5 and secure their second consecutive quarter-final appearance.

Second-half goals
Two goals in six second-half minutes gave Trondheim a 2-0 opening-day victory against Dutch team Saestum, in what ultimately proved to be the decisive match. Trine Rønning opened the scoring on 67 minutes before Monica Enlid clinched the points.

Group hosts beaten
Earlier, group hosts FC PAOK Thessaloniki of Greece had been beaten 3-0 by Romania's FC Regal Bucuresti, Adriana Burtica and Teodora Anton scoring immediately before and after the break. Simona Vintila clinched the win 15 minutes from the end.

Pedersen scores five
Trondheim then hit stunning form to beat PAOK 12-0. Heidi Pedersen was the day's top scorer with five goals, Maris Jordanger and Solfrid Andersen also scored twice. Linn Nyronning and Trine Rønning had claimed the first two, and Trine Nordgard was also on target. Saestum got off the mark with a 2-0 victory against Regal, Nicole Delies and Shirley Smith the women on target in the first half.

Trondheim clinch group
However, despite a 7-1 final day win against PAOK, Saestum could only finish second as Trondheim wrapped up the group by beating Regal 4-0. Trondheim go on to meet Denmark's Fortuna Hjørring in the last eight.
