Umeå IK eased into the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Cup by defeating FCL Rapide Wezemaal 6-0 at Gammliavallen to complete a 10-0 aggregate triumph.

Although a place in the semi-final was never in doubt following their significant away win in Belgium, Madeleine Edlund underlined Umeå's authority by scoring a first-half hat-trick – the goals coming in the 6th, 18th and 29th minutes. Brazilian forward Marta scored twice (44, 68) either side of Hanna Ljungberg's goal on the hour. Sweden's finest will take on Olympique Lyonnais, conquerors of holders Arsenal LFC, for a place in the final next spring.
